My friend had got busted for a little bit of weed and has to go to this thing called IPSA (Intervention Program for substance abusers) and it costs $ 350 to complete that program, question 1 is If he doesnt have it to pay what can they do ? make him quit the program and do a lot of community service or somethin? Im trynna get him to keep clean thru the whole thing so he doesnt have to keep doin this over and over. I can get him to stay clean for a few days but wen he wants to smoke weed ( I too smoke) we end up doin it. But i havent been doin it around him at all but if he constantly keeps doing it can he go to jail over not keeping clean or will they make him go thru the program longer until he get 24 clean piss tests ? my friend needs 24 clean urine tests rate its gonna take him forever to get that clean. Im not sure if it matters but we are in Maryland (wasnt sure if IPSA was different from the ones in other states) let me know thanks

If a man becomes involved with a woman from his past where there were numerous legal problems (criminal) and drug abuse and his behavior changes dramatically is it possible there is a drug connection again? He dropped all of his friends, his professional training as an athlete and started chronic lying. He had episodes of bizarre behavior also.

its not just illegal drugs that are problems. Our society is taking ridiculous amounts of unneccesary drugs. How can we “keep kids of drugs” when parents are taking more drugs than kids? Does anyone else think its insane the amount of pills ppl carry? Almost every family has a medicine cabinet full of man made “medicines” that have worse side effects than they do cures. everyday it seems there is a new lawsuit about some medicine having bad side effects or killing ppl. Most women carry a whole pharmacy in their purse. The answer to every problem seems to be “take another pill”. Then ppl wonder why they feel so crappy. The pills that actually aren’t placebos are dangerous! All these unnatural chemicals in our bodies are going to kill us way faster than pot would! yet our society deems it perfectly acceptable to overdose our bodies with “legal” drugs……does anyone else have issues with this?

I have a 7 year old daughter that I was sharing joint custody of with my ex-husband up until 12-3
of this year.
on that date, my daughter came home stating her father had physically hit her on the back of the head (where she had 3 staples in to close up a cut she received after being pushed by a cousin at her uncle’s house on her dad’s side of the family) b/c he got angry at her for not sticking with a lie he had made up about her being sick so that I would come pick her up from his house instead of him having to take her to school. I currently have temporary full custody of my daughter due to an order of protection being passed. I also called CPS and filed a report.
