Question by BrokePerson: Florida Drug Laws?
I gave a kid from college a ride home for $ 10 and he had a small bag of weed in on him, but I think he stuck it in the pocket in the door, what would of happened if I got pulled over and they found it, would my car get seized(where I don’t get it back), I live in florida and don’t need this crap, I was almost out of gas and needed quick money to get me home. He always gets in fights with his neighbors, so I don’t need them remembering what my car looks like either, in case they come after me as well.

Possession of less than 20 grams in Florida WILL result in a jail sentence of up to one year. You’re also subject to a 1000 dollar fine. Florida is one of those states with mandatory sentencing for even small amounts of cannabis.

Generally the person closest to the stash gets cited for it but if the dude denies knowledge of it you could be in for trouble. You should be more careful in who you give rides in the future.
